10 SURFBOARDS FOR 10 YEARS OF HAVEN SURF

In 2026, Haven Surf celebrates its 10-year anniversary. Under the HS10 banner, a series of events and monthly collaborations with brands and creatives from our world will unfold throughout the year. For the first collaboration we invited 10 shapers to create a surfboard that works both on their home break and in the North Sea, forming a connection between their world and ours. The result is a collection of highly versatile boards. Some shapers started from scratch, while others reworked existing designs or created exclusive artwork especially for this project.

Description

Part of the Haven Surf 10-year anniversary HS10 collaboration series, the Diamond Gambas by Chipiron is a fast and versatile twin + trailer designed for beach breaks and punchy surf. Created as a special HS10 edition, the board features a diamond tail as a subtle reference to Antwerp, the city of diamonds and the home of Haven Surf. That inspiration goes beyond the tail shape alone, continuing through the polished finish and the light reflections across the board, almost like the surface of a cut diamond. In real life, the effect is even more striking, though the high-gloss polish makes it notoriously difficult to capture properly in photographs. With its low entry rocker and generous outline, the board offers excellent paddle power while remaining loose and responsive once on rail.

About the Shaper

Damien Marly is the shaper behind Chipiron Surfboards, based in Hossegor on the French Atlantic coast. Surfing mainly around Capbreton, Hossegor, and Seignosse, his boards are deeply influenced by fast beach break waves and a playful approach to performance surfing. Chipiron boards combine functional design with strong character, balancing speed, flow, and versatility.
