Return Policy

RETURNS & REFUNDS
We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order. This return period applies to both full-price and sale items. To be eligible for a return, items must be unworn, unused, in their original condition, and returned with all original tags, packaging and accessories. 
Returns sent after the 14-day return period cannot be accepted and will be returned to the sender. If you have any questions before returning an item, please contact store@havensurf.com.

1. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Gift cards
- Personal care or hygiene products where the seal has been broken
- Items that are not in their original, resalable condition
If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact store@havensurf.com before sending it back.

2. Before Sending Your Return
All returns must be registered through our return portal before being shipped. https://havensurf.com/pages/returns-form Items returned without prior registration through the return portal may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
Please note the following:
- Proof of purchase is required for all returns. Please add the invoice to you return.
- Do not send products back to the manufacturer.
- Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Footwear must be returned in its original shoebox, protected by an additional outer shipping box. The shoebox is considered part of the product. Returns with damaged shoeboxes may be refused or subject to a reduction in refund value.
- Please include the completed return form inside your parcel. If you forgot to include the form, please contact store@havensurf.com.

3. Returns Within the European Union
Customers within the European Union may return their order using a carrier of their choice.
For convenience, we also offer (paid) FedEx return labels through our return portal. https://havensurf.com/pages/returns-form The cost of the return shipment will be deducted from your refund. If you arrange your own return shipment, we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of shipment until your return has been processed. Haven Surf is not responsible for returns that are lost, damaged or delayed when shipped using a carrier arranged by the customer.

4. Returns Outside the European Union
Returns from outside the European Union must be shipped via FedEx, UPS or DHL Express.
Please do not use postal services such as USPS, Canada Post, Royal Mail, Australia Post or DHL eCommerce. These services are often transferred to B-post in Belgium, which may result in customs clearance fees, administrative charges and delays, even for returned merchandise. In our experience, these charges are often around €40 per shipment, and can sometimes be higher. Any such costs incurred by Haven Surf will be deducted from the refund amount. 
When returning an item from outside the EU, please clearly mark the shipment as "RETURNED GOODS" and select the appropriate return merchandise option on any customs documentation. Failure to do so may result in customs duties, taxes or clearance charges that will be deducted from your refund.
For customers outside the EU, we offer FedEx return labels and the required customs documentation through our return portal. https://havensurf.com/pages/returns-form The cost of the return shipment will be deducted from your refund. 
Using our FedEx return service is strongly recommended. As Haven Surf also ships internationally with FedEx, returned parcels are more easily recognised as returned merchandise within the FedEx network, significantly reducing the risk of unnecessary customs charges and delays. 
Any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, handling charges, administrative costs or other expenses incurred during the return process remain the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from the refund where applicable.

5. Return In Store
Online orders may be returned free of charge at our Antwerp Flagship Store. All returns, including in-store returns, must first be registered through our return portal. https://havensurf.com/pages/returns-form

7. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return concerns a defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied item, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. Haven Surf cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost, damaged or delayed during transit.

8. Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, you will receive a confirmation by email. If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return results from an error on our part. Any return shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, handling charges, administrative costs or other expenses incurred by Haven Surf in connection with the return will be deducted from the refund amount. If a returned item shows signs of use, damage, missing packaging, missing tags or missing components beyond what is necessary to inspect the product, Haven Surf reserves the right to apply a reduction in the refund amount to reflect any loss in value.

9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after being notified that it has been processed:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card provider.
- Contact your bank, as processing times may vary.

10. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied. If you believe your item qualifies for an exchange, please contact store@havensurf.com before returning the product.

11. Gifts
If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, a gift credit will be issued once the return has been approved and processed. If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, any refund will be issued to the original purchaser via the original payment method.
