Created by award-winning surf photographer and filmmaker Lewis Arnold, GLASS is a fully independent surf art book series exploring surfing beyond the wave.

Following the success of GLASS / VO1 / North Sea, the second volume, GLASS / VO2 / Sea Change, turns its attention to change. Cultural, environmental, political and personal shifts are examined through the work of more than forty international photographers, filmmakers, writers and artists.

With a background in photojournalism, Lewis has always used surfing as a way to explore larger stories. His work connects surf culture with photography, film, art, society and the environment. This approach can also be seen in his award-winning documentary The Big Sea, which reveals the human and environmental impact of neoprene production.

For this new volume, Lewis worked alongside Dutch surf journalist Ronald de Leeuw, bringing together a diverse collection of voices and perspectives. The result is a provocative, beautifully produced publication that reflects the changing world of surfing and the creative culture surrounding it.
