The Thule Aion surfboard bag represents the pinnacle of surf travel innovation. Designed to carry up to four boards, it offers ample space to transport your entire quiver safely and securely. Every detail has been carefully considered—from adaptable nose and tail padding to roll cage protection and modular bag clips—ensuring each board receives the care it deserves. Purpose-built for wave-chasing nomads, this bag meets the demands of the journey, no matter how far off the map it leads.
The Thule Aion’s rugged waxed canvas fabric has a broken-in appearance straight out of the box and only develops more character with age. The fabric is five times more durable than other canvas fabrics you’ll find on the market, with a water-resistant finish that is free from PFCs (chemicals that can be harmful to the environment).
- Adjustable nose and tail protectors: Innovative, adjustable foam padding protects nose and tail of boards from your soft waves twin fin to your Nazaré tow-in gun (max 7' x 22.5" / 213cm x 57cm)
- “Board Cradle” protection system: 50mm foam padding keeps boards off the bag wall while the board separators and internal compression straps keep your quiver secure and organized
- Ability to attach extra bags: External clips allow the attachment of two extra bags letting you carry three bags as one
- bluesign certified product: bluesign® is a strict international criteria that ensures the protection of workers, consumers, and the environment
- Compression straps: Interior and exterior compression straps make sure the bag is compact and your boards are safely secured
- Grab handles: Multiple grab handles, one on the nose and three on each side, make it easier to place the bag on top of your car, in and out of your van, or on and off an airport conveyor belt
- Removable shoulder strap: Padded shoulder strap also attaches to the front grab handle for hands-free carry and is easily removable when needed
- Lash points to attach to roof rack: Webbing daisy chains on each side of the bag allow you to lash the surfboard bag onto your car's rack
- Additional gear storage for large and small items: 4 medium-sized, water-resistant pockets and a large, zipped pocket for accessories such as fins, leashes, wax, sunscreen etc
