Haven Surf is a lifestyle brand and concept store exploring the boundary between contemporary surf culture and urban life. Based in Antwerp, we connect surf, design, fashion, and culture through retail, events, and creative collaborations.

Our Antwerp flagship store is the heart of Haven Surf, a meeting place where people, ideas, and culture come together. It’s more than a retail space; it’s where our community connects through surf, design, fashion, events and conversation. Together with our online store, it reflects the world of Haven Surf, where contemporary surf & outdoor culture meets urban lifestyle.

We’re looking for passionate people to join our team, individuals who share our love for surf, design, and culture, and who want to help shape the next chapter of Haven Surf.

Below you’ll find an overview of the key tasks and responsibilities for each role. Keep in mind that Haven Surf is a small organisation, and everyone steps in where needed.

Beyond the obvious day-to-day store activities (advising and helping customers both in-store and online) there are additional responsibilities that come from the different projects we run: film nights, the production of our own collection, the Surf Film Festival, and more.

This makes working at Haven Surf versatile, engaging, and inspiring. Because our team is small, there is plenty of room for initiative. We welcome any idea or contribution that supports the long-term vision and the direction we’re building for the Haven Surf project.

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER / SALES ASSOCIATE - Antwerp Flagship & Online (Full-Time)

We’re looking for a driven and experienced full-time Sales Associate to join the team at Haven Surf.
Applicants should be based in or around Antwerp and available 4–5 days per week, including one weekend day.

You’ll play an active role in the daily operations of our Antwerp flagship and online store. Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help lead the team, deliver strong results, and maintain the high standards that define Haven Surf, both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store and online operations
• Coach and guide the team to ensure exceptional customer experience across all channels
• Maintain strong visual presentation and operational standards
• Build and share deep product knowledge
• Oversee inventory, order fulfilment, and online logistics
• Develop a full understanding of our POS system, e-commerce platform, and internal procedures

About You:
• Passion for surfing, outdoor, fashion and culture. This is essential!
• A team player who can multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
• Confident in customer-facing situations and passionate about creating meaningful connections
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and highly organised
• Comfortable taking initiative and wearing multiple hats
• Experience or interest in skating, hiking, cycling, or running is a plus
• Interest in marketing, photography, or content creation is a plus
• A creative mindset and eye for detail are highly valued

SALES ASSOCIATE - Antwerp Flagship & Online (part-time)

We seek a dynamic, experienced part-time Sales Associate to join our team in Antwerp. Candidates must be available 2-3 days, including one weekend day; and must be based around Antwerp.

Fundamental to the day to day running of the store you are often the first touchpoint our customer has with the brand. This role is critical to drive sales by the delivery of exceptional customer experience that exceeds expectations, standards and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and embody the Haven Surf experience

• Support day-to-day operations in our Antwerp flagship and online store

• Maintain strong visual presentation and assist with merchandising

• Build deep product knowledge and share it confidently with customers

• Help with inventory, online orders, and general store organisation

• Develop a full understanding of our POS system, e-commerce platform, and internal procedures

• Contribute to creative storytelling, helping with scale content creation, visuals, or marketing moments when needed
