Three years in the making, the second generation of Kelly Slater’s APEX Trunk refines the most high-performance boardshort ever made—pushing boundaries even further.

Built to meet Kelly’s exacting standards, this version features improved no-slip braided drawcords, a re-engineered waistband that cinches smoothly without bunching, and reinforced ultrasonic-welded seams placed for maximum durability and comfort.

Crafted in collaboration with Bureo, the trunks utilize NetPlus® material made from recycled fishing nets, resulting in a more sustainable build with added structure—without sacrificing the lightweight performance that made the original APEX a standout.

Crafted from 90% NetPlus® Recycled Nylon, 10% Spandex. 

Performance-centered design details throughout: 
- Pitched forward side seams with vents for easier fit on the board.
- Unique arc and tangent shaped back pocket featuring a key loop and eleven laser cut drainage holes, one for each of Kelly's world titles.
- Engineered side seam taping.
- Soft touch interior waistband.
- Gusseted fly.
- Soft touch triangles at inner thigh touch points.
- Unique rubberized drawstring.
