We met the guys behind Portuguese Flannel more than 10 years ago at a trade show during Paris Fashion Week, the season before we opened Haven Surf. We immediately connected with both the product and the philosophy behind the brand: focusing on one thing and doing it exceptionally well. Timeless shirts, great fabrics, honest craftsmanship.

Founded by brothers António and Manuel Magalhães in Porto, Portuguese Flannel is a true family-run label deeply rooted in Portugal’s textile heritage.

At that first trade show we asked António if he surfed. His humble answer was: “Yeah, a little bit.” Years later we discovered that “a little bit” meant charging heavy winter swells on the beach breaks around Porto.

For our 10 year anniversary, Portuguese Flannel had to be part of it. The result is an exclusive customised Bellavista Stripe Shirt featuring subtle Haven Surf embroidery. A timeless classic with an incredible fit and exceptional quality.
