10 SURFBOARDS FOR 10 YEARS OF HAVEN SURF
In 2026, Haven Surf celebrates its 10-year anniversary. Under the HS10 banner, a series of events and monthly collaborations with brands and creatives from our world will unfold throughout the year. For the first collaboration we invited 10 shapers to create a surfboard that works both on their home break and in the North Sea, forming a connection between their world and ours. The result is a collection of highly versatile boards. Some shapers started from scratch, while others reworked existing designs or created exclusive artwork especially for this project.

Description
Part of the Haven Surf 10-year anniversary collaboration series, the NorthSeaSlider by Steve Grossen was designed specifically around the conditions of the North Sea. The combination of a fuller forward outline, EPS construction, and stable rail profile helps with easy paddling and wave entry in weaker, wind-affected surf, while the narrower tail and twin fin setup keep the board responsive once up and riding.
About the Shaper
Steve Grossen is the shaper behind Wabi Sabi, based in Antwerp, Belgium. Surfing mainly around Domburg, his boards are shaped with everyday North Sea conditions in mind, focusing on functionality, speed, and adaptability.
