Axel Lorentz Shapes - Endless Summer 6'8" (futures)

The Endless Summer is the result of a collaboration between Axel and his daughter. Their goal was to create a board that would thrive in the varying conditions of “La Côte Basque“, while fitting different body types, from lighter female surfers to heavier average-sized riders. With Axel's decades of shaping experience and his commitment to designing boards for all types of surfers, the Endless Summer was born, a thruster mid-length that truly works for everyone.  

It’s a stylish, maneuverable, and fun board that combines the ease of a mid-length with generous foam for easier paddling, helping surfers catch more waves and enjoy every moment of their session. The responsive shape ensures smooth, easy turns across a variety of conditions, from mellow days to more powerful surf. The thruster setup offers a balanced mix of speed and control. A slight concave through the front and soft rails allow seamless transitions from rail to rail. Double vee concave and rocker toward the tail add support for fluid, responsive turns, while the refined foil boosts acceleration.

For beginner to intermediate surfers, the Endless Summer is forgiving and stable, helping to build confidence and refine technique. Its smooth transitions and controlled turns make it ideal for progression. Advanced surfers will appreciate its versatility, with the ability to hold in steep sections and big carves.
