KORUA was born from a group of friends, who happened to be traveling snowboard nerds in their 30’s. On a trip to Japan in 2012 they witnessed the country's thriving snow-surf culture and their specifically “built for deep powder” boards. This spoke to their r individual riding styles and interests. So when the opportunity arose to start their own brand, it was clear that the focus would lie on making boards that were easy-to-ride in their home mountains — the Alps, and that would turn exceptionally well. At the core of every KORUA board, is a sidecut that allows you to carve like no others on hard groomers, and a shape that lets you float through powder with ease. They truly are great all-round snowboards.

Dart

A Swallow Tail From The Future

The Dart brings together classic powder-inspired shaping and modern all-mountain performance. Its wide nose, tapered outline, and swallow tail create easy float in deep snow, while on groomers it delivers powerful, precise carving. Ideal for riders looking to sharpen their turning style, it offers strong acceleration and dependable control in any conditions.

PERSONALITY

The Dart’s wide outline, setback, and taper make it a natural in deep powder, offering effortless float and a laid-back ride. On groomers, the added width reduces drag so you can lean low into carves. Its swallow tail keeps things lively in soft snow and sharpens the turn radius as you finish each carve.

The Details

The Dart features our FLOAT CAMBER, which curves into a rocker shape in the nose. This profile helps you stay on top in deep powder while maintaining speed throughout the turn. The camber under-foot offers grip and stability on hard-pack and in variable conditions, while the early rise in the nose allows for an easy initiation of turns.

Optional: Recommended to ride this shape with more weight on the front foot.

Sizing

This chart shows the range in what each size can handle. It is never our intention to categorize riders and their preferences. Our philosophy of snowboarding is to try new shapes, lengths, widths, and to keep an open mind for alternative riding experiences; however, we do have some limits to consider so that your board will work as it was designed to.

Your weight plays a major role in how the board will flex, and your shoe size will affect toe and heel drag when turning. The below size chart is for reference only, as our recommendations may vary depending on your stance and riding ability.
