HAVEN SURF x KMSKA
James Ensor - a capsule collection
The Ensor Year 2024 would be incomplete without an exhibition at our neighbours, the KMSKA. In Your Wildest Dreams. Ensor Beyond Impressionism will provide you with a comprehensive view of James Ensor as a groundbreaking artist.
To celebrate this exhibition, we have designed a capsule collection in collaboration with the KMSKA, featuring limited edition T-shirts and a sweater with prints of the works of James Ensor. As always, our clothing is sustainably produced in Portugal.
The standout piece of the collection is a unique James Ensor surfboard, created in partnership with Antwerp-based shaper Steve Grossen of Wabi Sabi Surfboards, showcasing Ensor's Skeletons Fighting Over a Pickled Herring. @wabi_sabi_surf
A Unique Surfboard for a Unique Cause
All proceeds from the surfboard will be donated to Radio Bart, a museum project funded entirely by generous donations. Radio Bart brings a distinctive, immersive experience to the gallery, where 3 visually impaired host engages visitors in meaningful conversations about art. Visitors describe the artworks they see - exploring shapes, colours, and dimensions - while the hosts thoughtful questions encourage them to see the artwork in new ways. Look differently, see more!

For this shoot, the KMSKA granted us special access to its remarkable art storage facility beneath the museum—a space beyond imagination, housing masterpieces by some of the most renowned artists.
