Photographer Aurélien Bacquet (@aurelienbacquet) was part of the 2025 Haven Surf Film Festival, where his work was featured in the art exhibition.
Based between Paris and Bretagne, Aurélien is also the co-founder of Barbès Surfclub (@barbessurfclub), a collective of friends organizing surf-inspired events in Paris and documenting the humor and beauty of being landlocked surfers.
His photography captures that spirit with warmth and spontaneity, reflecting the joy of chasing waves, the simplicity of friendship, and the fleeting rhythm of surf life far from the coast.
