A Boy’s Own Story…

As journalist Clive Martin put it, “There aren’t many people in the history of British clubbing held in higher regard than the Boy’s Own crew.” Launched in 1986 by a group of London friends – including Terry Farley, Andrew Weatherall, Cymon Eckel and Steven Hall – Boy’s Own shaped the culture: first as a cult fanzine, then through iconic parties, and later via a record label that launched acts like Underworld and The Chemical Brothers. More than anything, Boy’s Own built a creative, connected community — one that still resonates in today’s fragmented world.
