Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng en Courbu

Clos Lapeyre is located in the beautiful region of Jurançon in the Sud Ouèst. This family business, led by Jean-Bernard Larrieu, has been working organically for more than 10 years and since 2013 also biodynaically. Besides the traditional sweeter wines from the region, they also make beautiful Jurançon Secs.

Special dry wines that are difficult to pin down.

The unique combination of the Manseng brothers (Petit & Gros), Courbu and the soothing influence of the Pyrenees and the Atlantic Ocean make these wines unforgettable.

Vinification and ageing: slowly pressed and left to settle, the musts are then put in barrels and foudres aged 1 to 5 years old.

Taste notes: Jean-Bernard Larrieu makes highly expressive wines from his vineyard farmed organically since 2005. The 2010 vintage seems to have been a great success for him. Dressed in pale gold, this cuvée presents light aromas of muscat, followed on airing by aromas of raisined grapes, dried fruits and brioche. The palate is supported by great freshness with sweet notes of oak making an overall elegant wine and leaving a lasting impression. Guide Hachette 2013
